The main scientific programme is held during three days (June 15, 16 and 17, 2013) and consists of State-of-the-Art Lectures, Topical Workshops, Breakfast Workshops, Working Groups, Workshops, Debates and Teaching Sessions (European Hypertension Specialist Programme).

PARALLEL ORAL SESSIONS

The parallel oral sessions are selected among the abstracts submitted by participants. There will be parallel sessions in the morning and afternoon of each day. Each presentation will be given 10 minutes (8 for presentation and 2 for discussion).

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The poster presentations are selected among the abstracts submitted by participants.
There will be poster sessions on June 15, 16 and 17, 2013 from 14.00 to 15.30 hrs. During that time posters should be attended by the Authors. On each day the best ten presented posters will be recognized with a prize of Euro 500,00 each. The selection will be made by the Programme Scientific Committee.
Poster size must be: cm 90 width x cm 150 height (vertical).

STATE-OF-THE-ART LECTURES

The State-of-the-Art Lectures are given during some of the sessions with oral presentations and Plenary Sessions.

ESH WORKING GROUPS’ WORKSHOPS

ESH working groups’ workshops take place at various time, during the main meeting.

HOW-TO AND MEET–THE-EXPERT SESSIONS

How-to and Meet-the-Expert sessions take place every day. They are aimed at discussing with an expert the methods to be used for the diagnosis and assessment of efficacy of treatment in hypertension and related cardiovascular disease.

CLINICAL CASES

Clinical Cases take place every day. They consist in discussions of clinical cases with an expert.

LATE BREAKER  SESSIONS

These sessions allow for submission of late-breaking experimental and clinical works. Abstract submission will be possible from April 1 to 30, 2013.
